8/17/2014Salamanca Rockin’ Ribfest
The third annual Salamanca Rockin' Ribfest is back and saucier than ever, offering more for community members to enjoy all weekend long. This year, not only will there be award-winning food vendors, free wine tasting, a Rockin' Ribs ‘n Rides Car Show, and live performances from top bands, but the Seneca Salamanca Chamber of Commerce is also collaborating with Gotta Kiss Cancer Goodbye to help raise awareness and donations to help fund research.
One of the highlights of this year’s festival will be the National Award-winning Ribbers--Sgt. Oink's BBQ Co., My Happy Place BBQ, and Smokin' Joe's Hog Wild Barbeque. These award-winning rib vendors have garnered well over 300 awards across the country for their delectable ribs and chicken barbecue. This year alone, they have won "Best Ribs" honors in Iowa, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and now they're bringing their award-winning ribs, chicken BBQ, pulled chicken and pork sandwiches to Salamanca, NY!
