Welcome, Hello, I hope all is well.

Salamanca is rising!

...and we're glad you want to be a part of it! You've made a great choice in seeking to learn more about the fastest growing city in our area!

NEW! Visit the Salamanca Area Chamber of Commerce blog for personal accounts on events and happenings from our board members and staff. Also view photos from our events and festivals on our Flickr photo page.

Salamanca, New York, a true gem in the Enchanted Mountains of Cattaraugus County, offers a historic and cultural atmosphere, along with a more fast paced setting with our casinos and night life.

With a history rooted deep in nature, Salamanca is located directly off of NYS I-86. It is the only city in the United States, East of the Mississippi River, that is located on an Indian Reservation. The Seneca Nation of Indians enriches Salamanca with its culture and heritage. A short or extended visit could include a stop at scenic Allegany State Park, the Seneca Iroquois National Museum, or the Salamanca Rail Museum, or  you can enjoy the other side of our scene at our gaming facilities - Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel or Seneca Gaming & Entertainment.

While you’re in Salamanca, you can also enjoy a plethora of events and festivals, sample our cuisine, and enjoy a variety of year-round, outdoor activities. There are also many nearby treasures throughout the Enchanted Mountains of Cattaraugus County that make the Salamanca area so unique. With a short drive you can experience an array of places that you won't see anywhere else!

We invite you to browse around our site for more information about Salamanca, our "city on the rise," and hope we'll have the chance to welcome you in any of our four seasons to experience the flavor of our one-of-a-kind city!

Mission Statement: We support our members, the greater business community and the community at large by providing valuable member benefits and services, building tourism and actively engaging in the economic revitalization of the Salamanca area.
